ABOUT RAWINA
Hi, I’m Rawinia Judson — an Award-Nominated Authenticity & Leadership Coach, Author of the Amazon Best-Selling Book You Are Not Alone, and a woman with a deep sense of purpose and heart.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies (Marketing & Management Communication), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and am trained through the Beautiful You Coaching Academy. But more than that, I bring two decades of experience in people-centered industries — from media, retail, events, advertising, and hospitality, to coaching high-performing athletes and teams.
Across my 19+ year career, I’ve held front-line, project management, and leadership development roles across Aotearoa, New Zealand. I’ve trained and coached individuals and teams regionally and nationally, and I’ve also been a sought-after CrossFit Coach in the fitness industry — blending physical discipline with mindset, resilience, and self-leadership.
Today, I coach and partner with CEO’s, founders, creatives, and purpose-driven leaders to develop the self-trust, emotional intelligence, and skillsets required to create lives and careers that feel authentic and whole. My approach is grounded in psychology, backed by science, infused with Te Ao Māori wisdom, and shaped by lived experience, including the challenges of being a single Māori woman of faith leading with influence in my family and communities.
I know what it’s like to navigate intrusive thoughts, imposter syndrome, and self-doubt — and I’ve made it my mission to walk alongside leaders as they reclaim their power, live with integrity, and take courageous action that creates lasting impact.
I believe every person carries a unique gift, and mine is helping you see yours clearly, so you can lead with more joy, courage, and conviction, and leave a legacy that’s meaningful to you.
My areas of expertise include:
Authenticity · Emotional Resilience · Personal Leadership · Creativity · Change · Mindfulness · Integrity · Character Development · Courage · Spirituality · and Living with Excellence ·
Q&A
Who inspires you?
People who have struggled through adversity and been able to create a life they love. I admire people who have such a deep belief that it doesn’t have to be this way and they do everything they can to change it and never give up.
Where is your favourite place in the world?
Aotearoa, New Zealand. The whenua (land) of home will always hold my heart no matter where I am in the world. I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures, experiences and places, however nothing compares to the love and embrace I feel when I step onto the land of my people.
What do you spend your time on?
I invest a lot of my time into my work. Creating impact and leading a legacy of change requires time and effort and it’s something I don’t hold lightly. I know my ancestors fought for my right to live and so I believe it’s my duty to do and create the same for the future generations and those who are yet to come in my place. If I’m not working, I’m at home resting and spending time with the Lord, or curled up with one of my favourite books. You’ll find me at a café drinking coffee with my friends, out for a walk taking in the environment around me, or at the gym taking care of my mental and physical wellbeing.
What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Choosing to work for myself. I spent the better part of my life in debt and struggling with my relationship to money. I had a lot of fear about not being able to support myself financially however I knew deep down this is where God was calling me and leading me, to this ministry. Going out on my own has really gotten me to take ownership of this part of my life, steward my finances well and do the work both internally and externally on how I take care of my money, what I do with it, and trusting God will provide for me every step of the way when I am obedient to Him and have faith in His calling on His life for me.
What is your favourite way to have fun?
Dancing. There is nothing I love more than getting lost inside the words of a song I needed to hear and letting my body take over and live with abandon. I also love to express myself through fashion and what I wear. Ultimately, anything creative brings me so much joy - cooking, baking, finding order in the chaos.
What is your favourite food?
Pizza is my current go to. I often spend months obsessed about a food, and then get bored of it and switch it up. Anyone else relate?
What inspired you to start writing and coaching?
It was something that ‘just happened’ but really I believe it was written in the stars. Writing came naturally to me and people always asked me for advice. I listened to these two things deeply. I noticed how people loved my writing, asked to read my writing, and similarly, how people would just open up to me and share things with me they had never shared with another person. It was here I realized the natural innate gifts I was given by God - my ability to see, hear, and help others to heal and be their absolute best in Him.
